The slouch socks are such great staples to have (and for the price you can stock up on a variety of gorgeous colors!). They stay up nicely at my knees and as the name implies, have good slouch-ability too. The skater stripes are just an all-around comfy, lightweight sock…not too clingy but not loose either. And as a person that tends to wear a lot of black, I like having that little punch of color to break up the darkness and brighten things up.
The two tone skater stripes in orange paired with the tangerine slouch sock is a great combo for Halloween

at first I wasn’t sure if what I was looking at was your stuff…..art….for real…..my fav is “heartcut” what/how????????????? ooooooooo I love that pic!
my favorite is the orange flower with the crayon! i think it’s great.
oh I like the sky ones the best but there all very nice.
Thanks for the treat on this rainy day,and I thought I was just going to see cute socks.I have always like the nature type pictures.I think a lot of the photos posted on Sockdreams are great.
maryfaery, the duckie rocks. i have my guest bathroom decorated in duckie-chic and have that same duckie presiding over the whole room.
Maryfaery, your photography is divine! Very professional looking.
I got my first real camera when I was 14 or 15, and I started by taking pictures of my cats and random flowers in my mother’s garden. I should scan some of my older shots…it’s funny how bad they are compared to my current stuff (not even just technically, they totally lacked concept as well). I was always really shy about sharing my photos with anyone up until about a year ago. It still blows my mind that people think I’m talented when to me I’m just a dork that likes to wriggle around in the grass and take pictures of pretty, colorful things.
The red & black look fantastic together like that, so bold & lively and the shot with the orange, also very nice! How old were you when you took your very first picture? what were some of your first subjects?
nice, all of those pics. downright gorgeous!
Actually, I think I do have a picture of the Halloween combo. I’ll go dig it up.
