Sweet and preppy

These lovely thigh highs with woven hearts are not only adorably cute, but make a nice contrast to a more preppy outfit, like a tartan skirt. So hearts are not only for Valentines and romance, but fit nicely for work too.
They come in both black and white and, to my great joy, in both plus and “normal” size. My legs aren’t long, but plump, so one size socks often get too short, or create a bulge in the thigh. But not with plus size.
They don’t stay up on their own, but then I think this kind of romantic, yet sexy, stockings look best with a garter belt.
The stockings are very sheer, but not particularly easily snagged. To avoid snagging from the zippers in my ankle boots I wore a pair ofFlat Knit Bell Top Anklets, a lovely thin, seamless rayon anklet that takes virtually no place in your shoes with them. These anklets are wonderful if you want to protect thin stockings in boots without adding bulk. They show a lot in this picture, but that’s because of the angle the photo is taken from. And the blue sort of matches the skirt.

I have a question for my fellow socknistas. I love the purple pedicoat(it’s the softest one in stock @ $35.00). I think the color is great. What does one wear with a pedicoat? Can it be worn alone?

SUPER cute idea with the bottom socks and the ‘v’ boot. I personally like the white tights with the red, but only because my preference for the lighter colors…still, very cute. I found a cute checkered black and white skirt the other day and these tights would look FABU with it, I know.
(but i was also thinking…red knee highs, anyone?

Very cute indeed! Are the little anklet boots high-heeled or just flat? They look adorable, I’m imagining that they are high-heeled and look super sweet.

The shoes have c. 2″ heels.
I just ordered a lace petticoat to make the skirt stand out even more![]()
Quick question (or two) : Why don’t the new vertically inclined’s and the yummies show up in the new sock section?
Also I was wondering, since it is out of stock, what type of blue are the blueberry o yummies?
P.S. Cute boots!
They aren’t in the new items section because we haven’t received all the colors. When we have they will be added into the latest.
Oh, woe is me! It’s killing me, Niq, everyday I wait for the Olive Vertically Inclined to go up, but alas, it is not there, and another day I must put my order on hold! You terrible, terrible tease, the anticipation–! Can I even hold out for one more day?

I’m sooooo sorry! I swear they are on their way!!! I really thought they’d be in by now and I know my girls have been checking in and adding new orders every day as they arrive, so keep your toes crossed, I promise they will be in soon…
~xox~
As one of the girls, I can promise you that we are anxiously awaiting the olive too!
Heehee, it’s all right, I’m just being silly melodramatic.

Eva, this is the cutest pic!!! You look so sweet!!!
Brandy… you can wear a petticoat with anything!!! (though wearing it with nothing might make you seem a bit too “friendly” in the everyday world, though it is a perfectly good option for romantic senerios) :O)
I’ve seen them layered over and under lots of things… I personally like them over leggings or under a skirt that is not quite long enough (so some of the frill peeks out).
