Putting on the Polonovas
Last September I introduced the Polonova socks and wrist warmers.
Despite only offering a random selection of the knee highs …
requiring you, our dedicated sock lovers, to trust us.
We picked patterns and colors based on what you wrote or ordered…
and they’ve been a huge hit! Now that things have settled down a little here and I have caught up with my endless backlog of images to shoot and edit we have a few styles set and ready to go with more coming! So far we have the Klimt spirals, vines and floral lace up (I’ll be getting better images of the lace done this weekend). We’ll also be adding dragons, square spirals, mehndi patterns (like the velvet wrist warmers), more colors and silk screened velvet gloves with full fingers!
I’m taking more pictures today and will be editing all weekend…
So check back often because these & many more cool surprises are coming.

i can’t decide on the Klimt spirals colors i want: silver on black or black on red?
These are all so beautiful!!! I want them all!
I also should add: the Harajuku Arm Warmers have quickly become a favorite arm warmer, and I’m really happy they’re coming out in so many colors. I am absolutely ecstatic about the Merlot, and in love with them already! I’ve been waiting, waiting, waiting for a dark red arm warmer, and they’re just perfect! =D
The Fingerless Arm Cozies are also wonderful, and I’m crossing my fingers for more colors. I like them because they’ll fit nicely under the cuffs of long sleeves. The longer fingerless gloves are too bulky to fit under snug sleeves–well, I’m also rather petite–but they’re great for wearing slouched over sleeves, and then they’re really quite warm, so I do like that about them.
Finally, the K. Bell Cable Leg Warmers: lovely in the purple. But overall, these are wonderful, loose and heavy warmers. I was hesitant to get a pair at first, and put it off for awhile, but I’m really glad I went for it, and they’re well worth the money!

I finally got myself a pair as well and love them! Brenna has been working on the top stretch which varies from one design to the next. They don’t go super side very well but did fare better than expected. Of course there was the stretched screen-print effect a little, but it didn’t seem to actually damage the print, think of how beloved printed t-shirts look in time.
And of course I asked about getting these in OTKs right up front but this meticulous style does not lend itself well to points past the knees.
And now, to start the next fun new post, which will bear a little surprise game of ‘trust us to pick the coolest socks ever for you’…
