It’s been a few days now and everyone agrees, we love the new site!
So, about those new features we’ll be adding…
let me see how many I can list for you:
Searching by Color
…oh boy, apparently this one is tricky, but I really REALLY want it to work!
Customer Logins…
complete with wishlists, stored address books, status & tracking on orders
…but of course, everyone’s doing it and we’re behind, but not for long.
Customer reviews
…a bunch of these will probably not be ready til after summer.
Order histories
…I think we can find a way to show you older orders as well as new.
restock notify options
…so you don’t have to write us, just click a button and find out when we have it back.

for those who like to utilize RSS feeds, you will know anytime we add a new item!
But before we get to these, the first thing we’ll be working on is the credit card processing, a small, but very important step we’re taking that will make the last step in paying by credit card go flawlessly, or so we hope…
What did I miss? Let us know if there is something you’re hoping for

I love the new site! I just made my first order on this site a few hours ago and I’m glad you kept paypal as an option. I think things will be easier to find now and all of the ways navigation will make things so much easier in the future.
Looking forward to the wishlist and searching by color functions and keep bringing us amazingly sexy and comfy socks!

cant wait for the reviews. i miss the “old days” when some of the SD regulars did sock reviews. it will be nice to see everyones reviews on things.
Ah, I’m so looking forward to the customer login and specially the restock notify option! I seem to always miss a certain pair of high tights I want for ages! Maybe I finally get them with this option.
I have to say the new site looks awesome! Great graphics and the colors are also very matching. The layout reminds me of my note book, the old school cover and yellow pages
Yes! that is exactly what we were going for =)
we actually got an email from someone who wasn’t even big enough to use a real email address for us to reply to telling us how lame he/she thought it was to have a paper texture rather than fiber for socks. Of course we don’t worry over opinions of that sort….

Hi! Could you add larger product images – for example when clicking the image on the product description? Your pics are generally very good and I’ll bet you will get a lot of blog exposure – and big images help with that!
Thanks! yes, that’s been on our list for ages and will be added. Also, we put larger images up on facebook and we have bunches on flickr.
I have yet to buy anything from you but I swear by all that is soft and wearable and soxy, that I stalk this site on the DAILY. Love it! Keep doing what you’re doing!
Very nice job on the new site! A lot less scrolling! Cool, unique design. Hey – btw – I live in the land of REAL winters, and we dream of wool. Nothing beats it for SERIOUS warmth without getting so thick your feet get squeezed in your shoes. Cotton kills in winter by holding onto moisture. Wool also doesn’t get stinky in boots like synthetics. You guys have that lovely ocean making things all temperate! Sigh! Anywho – your selection kicks ass for spring-summer-fall!

I’m pretty excited about the wishlist feature and customer reviews, I’d love to give reviews on all the socks I’ve bought here. I know I hesitated to buy from Sock Dreams for years because I wasn’t sure the socks would fit as I’m tall and curvy. But now I know which ones do fit.
