@Raubynn, I don’t know how you do it! And of course you can wear whatever pleases you but I am impressed by your toe-tastic ability! I wonder if the Dream Stockings and Dreamer Socks work better because of the larger feet of the former and the super-stretchy fit of the latter. Niq told me about a shade of black once that was in that nebulous area of navy and black. I love the idea of that colour, because adding it to a navy and to black ensemble would add more transition and purposefulness, so nobody thinks you’re dressing in the dark. Though if you do dress in the dark (I totally do sometimes), who’s to judge? Maybe you like to keep things exciting.

I LOVE wearing brown/black together – one of my fav combos and get questioned on it all the time…
I also love the navy/black but worry more with that combo because i feel like people are thinking i didnt have sufficient lighting when i was getting dressed and mixed my colors.

*****I LOVE WEARING UNISOCKS AND FLIPFLOPS!!!!!!!!! i do it all the time!!!!!!!! my mom and bf dont understand how i wear flipflops at all because they think flip-flops in general are uncomfortable. but i have never had any issues with it….especially sock dreams brands – those seem to fit very well while wearng flip-flops.

@Fancypants, I can totally understand that. Comfort-wise, tabi socks are going to be better than regular socks when wearing flip flops. You don't have to push the sock down between your toes because it's shaped like mittens for your feet!

I like the socks and open toes…i even like the hiking wool sock and berkinstock sandals combo. But i just cant understand the standard unitoe sock and flip flop. How is that even comfortable? Flip flip and awesome toe sock on the other hand….winning combation for ultra casual footware.

@Martha, danged right! If a person feels awesome in what they're wearing, other folks can see that. And if they can't? Well you feel fabulous so they have got to be wrong. I like to think of clothes as costume and armour (or, I guess, superhero clothes). They help me show who and what I am that day.

More than anything, being trans has taught me that I can wear anything that makes ME feel good about myself. Whether or not it’s fashionable is beside the point. If it makes me feel good about me, then I’m going to wear it.

@Travis, Now, folks can wear whatever they want. Camoflauged or not. If you don’t like camo, that’s cool, but other folks do love it. And they make it look awesome.

@Monica, ha! I am not super good at pulling off the socks and open toed shoes myself, but I’m practicing! I love when folks can make it awesome, and I want to do it too.
