Because we get to see what people order for gifts, we have a good idea of what the popular sock presents are for the holidays. Toe socks are probably one of the most popular styles. They’re different and fun and great stocking stuffers. And if you’re a toe sock convert, a present is the best way to try and win others over to the joys of toe freedom.
Now, what about folks who totally should get toe socks for the holidays, but aren’t exactly a stripy, tabi, goofy kind of person? That’s where beautifully engineered, premium toe socks come in. We are renowned for our super fast shipping but during these final days before the holidays USPS is overwhelmed and even we cannot perform miracles under such circumstances.

Plus, we need a day for processing so we would suggest Sunday December 19th as the last day to safely place an order with free first class shipping. If you order on Monday upgrade to Priority (free for orders $50 & up). Tuesday the 21st is the last day to safely order using Express shipping…
after that you’re really taking your chances if you want the item in time for Christmas, but we’ll do all we can on our end to get it on it’s way.
We offer the option of picking up your order at our warehouse in Portland for you local folks in need. Also… shopping at our little shoppe of socks in Sellwood is a fantastic idea because we’ll be open all the way up til 6 pm on Christmas Eve (picking up your online orders at the shoppe can be done, but does take us a little longer to process).
Of course, you can always do an Ecard at the very last moment and have instant gratification!

Just what are “bed socks”? Even if you don’t wear socks to sleep, cozy bed sock styles can keep your feet warm during the cold winter months.
“Bed sock” is a term used most often to describe an ankle or crew height sock that is thicker and often fuzzy, just the thing for snuggling up under covers or padding around the house. Some styles even have grip treads on the bottom, like slippers, to keep you from slipping on slick floors.
The most obvious bed sock choice are the New Zealand Bed Socks. The choreographer/director of the dance video in the last post sent me this still image this weekend. I love that they are all wearing our striped Dream Stockings!

Just found your site… where have I been. Thank goodness there are others who share my passion for socks. My faves are stripy ones – there used to be a store here in my town called Socks Appeal, but they have long since closed down, so I was left to scour the shelves during Halloween mostly to try to find some comforting socks… I had almost given up hope.
